Louise takes on key role at StepIn

Louise is taking on the role full-time following the departure of Aisling Hynes, a valued member of staff for many years.
She brings a wealth of experience to the role, having been a member of the StepIn team since 2018, chiefly as a Supported Living Organiser but also spending time working closely with the members as a network supporter.
Louise has more than 12 years' experience working in the disability sector including residential care services, community mentoring, supported living and emergency accommodation.
StepIn’s support is person-centred and specifically tailored to meet unique needs, underpinned by the philosophy that every individual has the right to live the life they choose for themselves, in the heart of the community, in a house they can call their home.
Louise said: “Members do not fit into the service; needs are built around the members.  They build the life they want in their community and StepIn gives support when needed and connections with other people.  Members learn new skills, improve existing ones and share this learning with others.”
She added: “We believe people can live independently no matter age or disability.”
